Christian Apologetics Study

No specific mention of the United States of America or any other country in North or South America can be clearly found in God’s Holy Scriptures partly because the U.S. is a young country. As a nation, it is less than 250 years old and it is much younger than the nations mentioned in Scripture, which are clearly featured in biblical eschatology. In fact, the Holy Scriptures makes no clear and direct mention of many nations in the modern world.  The ancient prophets were primarily concerned with the Holy Land and its immediate neighbors. Except for a few nations, areas remote from Israel do not figure in eschatology and are not mentioned in the Holy Scriptures.

While there are no specific references to the United States in biblical eschatology, there are biblical statements about what the nations in general will be doing during the tribulation period. Passages like Haggai 2:6-7, Isaiah 66:18-20, and Zechariah 12:2-3 speak of all the nations involved in end-time events. Although these kinds of references clearly will include the United States in their fulfillment, they do not teach us anything specifically about America in prophecy. Some eschatology experts believe America is mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 as the young lions of Tarshish during the Gog and Magog invasion of Israel.

Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 refer to the Battle of Gog and Magog and they speak of their invasion of Israel. Ezekiel says this war will occur ” in the latter years” and ” in the last days”. The invasion involves a coalition headed by “Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh (Russia), Meshech (Moscow), and Tubal (Tobolsk)”. Magog has been identified as ancient terminology for the area including modern day Russia, The Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. Ezekiel further identifies Magog as coming from ” the remote parts of the north”.

Although Gog will lead the invasion of Israel, Ezekiel 38:5,6 says that other nations will join with him. Persia (Iran), Ethiopia or Cush (Sudan), Put (Libya), Gomer and Beth-togarmah (Turkey). All the allies of Magog are reasonably well identified and they are all presently Muslim. Interestingly, such an alignment of nations is already configured on the world scene in our own day. While some eschatology experts believe the invasion will take place before the tribulation officially begins, this war will occur after the rapture. Such a view would help to explain a vacuum on the world political scene at the beginning of the tribulations left by the removal of the influence of Russia and her Muslim allies, and possibly even the United States because of this conflict. This would then prepare the way for the Revived Roman Empire (Western Europe) and the Anti-Messiah to sign the covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:2427).

For some eschatology scholars, the strongest case for America in Bible prophecy can be made from a statement found in the words of Ezekiel when he wrote: “Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages, will say to you, ‘ Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’ “(Ezekiel 38:13).

Some scholars believe that “the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages,” refers to the Western European colonies and the nations that have originated from them. This would include North America and the United States. Thus, the response to the invasion of Magog into Israel from Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and its villages will be one of nonintervention. They will simply say, ” Have you come to capture spoil?” Who are Sheba and Dedan? ” Sheba and Dedan are not difficult to identify. They are located in the modern country of Saudi Arabia.” Sheba and Dedan are said to be in alignment with “the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages.” The identity of “the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages,” is the key phase for those who believe this to be a reference to America.

There are several arguments for this interpretation.  First, merchants of Tarshish refer to the Phoenician maritime and trading community located in Spain during the general time of King Solomon, 3,000 years ago. Second, the merchants of Tarshish, during the last 500 years, developed into the modern mercantile nations of Western Europe like Spain, Holland, and Britain. Third, the phrase “with all its villages” or the variant rendering “with all its young lions,” would be a reference to its trans-Atlantic colonies, which would include America. Thus, it is reasoned, because America is the most dominant of these Western nations, this must be a reference to the United States of America.

Many self proclaimed prophets have said that they had visions of America’s complete destruction by an attack from Russia and other nations, while others say that America will be reduced in its power and global influence by natural disasters, earthquakes, and economic collapse. This author believes that if America is referenced in biblical prophecy, it can be found in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. However, these biblical passages could include the entire Western Hemisphere and not just America. The weight of biblical and eschatology evidence appears to show that America will become an insignificant nation during the tribulation and she will become just a regional power during the day’s of the Ant-Messiah’s rule.  The United States of America is a country that originated as colony established by Europeans and other

ethnic populations worldwide. Therefore, the United States will be included in the prophetic destiny of the Gentile nations.

The Israelites are the people through whom God chose to bless the nations. God promise the Israelites that they will prosper if they obeyed His laws. The Israelites lived in the land of Canaan. God made this promise around the year 2100 BC when Abraham was 75 years old. However, the Israelites never kept God’s laws because they were influenced by the pagan gentile nations surrounding them who worshiped idols.  God allowed His chosen people to be taken over by foreigners. After a long diaspora, God restored His chosen people backed to their own land in AD 1948. Because Israel is the center of all biblical prophecy, its origin and destiny is very significant to eschatology experts.

Israel’s history begins with God’s sovereign purpose revealed in the first book of the Holy Scriptures, Genesis. God finds Abraham and his descendants to be of great significance. The very proportion of the coverage reveals something about the significance of Israel.  The first three chapters record the creation and fall of humanity. The other eight chapters cover the period from the pre-flood civilization to the time of Abraham. Then we find that fully 38 chapters deal with the history of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who are the progenitors of the Jewish people. Israel is significant because the fulfillment of God’s covenant with its founder Abraham greatly affects everyone. The playing out of prophetic events concerning Israel places everyone in the last days of history’s timeline. The miraculous survival of God’s covenant people, the Jews, demonstrates God’s providence and His ability to accomplish His purpose in the face of what seems to human minds impossible odds. The existence of Israel today is convincing evidences that the prophecies in Scripture concerning the future will be fulfilled. To this day, the issue of who controls Israel, the Promised Land, is the most explosive issue in international politics.

The land promised to Abraham covers much more area than what the present nation of Israel occupies today. According to Genesis 15:18, the Israelis will occupy the Mediterranean Sea on the west to the Euphrates River on the east. Ezekiel fixes the northern boundary of Israel at Hamath, one hundred miles north of Damascus, according to Ezekiel 48:1, and the southern boundary at Kadesh, about one hundred miles south of Jerusalem, according to Ezekiel 48:28.

Today, Israel is roughly the same size as the state of New Jersey. When we look at a map and locate that tiny strip of land that Israel now claims, we can see that she does not now, nor has she ever, fully occupied the land that was described to Abraham in God’s covenant promise. If Israel were currently occupying all the land promised to her, she would control present-day Israel, Lebanon, the West Bank of Jordan, and substantial portions of Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.

The prophet Isaiah said that Israel will possess this land in future. He prophesied that the Lord would “set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left” (Isaiah 11:11). God also addressed the issue through Ezekiel when He said, “I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land” (Ezekiel 36:24). The fulfillment of those prophecies was set in motion on 14th of May 1948, when the U.S. recognized the new state of Israel. Prophecies found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Matthew, and Revelation show, both the Old Testament and the New Testament pointed to this day when the Jews would return to the land promised them and initiate fulfillment of the ancient prophecies.

While the return of Jewish populations to the newly re-found nation of Israel is the first stage of restoration of the Israeli nation, this reality fails to complete all the requirements for a spiritual return to the Lord.  Since 1948, Israel has been attacked many times and sometimes in all-out conflicts and continually by Islamic militants. The Jewish people have endured by remaining alert, while they long for peace. According to the Holy Scriptures, a future leader will fulfill this longing with a seven-year peace deal with Israel’s enemies. However, Scripture says that this peace plan will be broken, and Israel will be attacked, this time as never before. Many armies will amass against the restored Israeli nation, leaving it with no human hope of victory. Only Messiah Yeshua’s return to Earth, His judgment, and His reign will finally bring true peace to Israel.

When Messiah Yeshua returns, then God’s covenant with Abraham will reach its ultimate fulfillment. The Jews will return to the Lord and, as Ezekiel and Jeremiah prophesied, they will be His people and He will be their God. The borders of the land will expand to the dimensions described in Genesis 15 and Ezekiel 48. Messiah’s return will also fulfill the prophecy of Jeremiah that God would gather the Jews: “Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them and I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They will be my people, and I will be their God”(Jeremiah 32:37–38). Ezekiel makes it clear that this gathering means God will return all the Jews back to their land. For he wrote that the Lord said He would gather them again to their own land “and none of them will be captive any longer” (Ezekiel 39:28). Since 1948, we see this prophecy being fulfilled. Today, Israel is home to the largest Jewish community on Earth, surpassing the Jewish population in the United States.

The Genesis Creation Revelation Theory say Genesis chapter one and parts of Genesis chapter two describe Moses’ creation vision. Many proponents of this view argue that historical events were revealed to Moses during six consecutive night visions called days, and each vision represents what was revealed to Moses about the primeval past, but not the actual timeframe of the creation. Believers in this theory argue that the seven creation days have a six plus one heptadic structure, which is found elsewhere in apocalyptic literature. In Revelation 6:1-8:1; 8:2-11:19; and 16:1- 21, “the pattern is of six related events followed by a seventh”: seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls of wrath, with the seventh component of each series fundamentally different from the preceding six. Believers in this theory say “there is more in parallel here than form alone. Both are similar in objective because both give an historic and eschatological perspective. Revelation gives human history’s heavenly view with dramatic illustrations of its culmination. Likewise, Genesis chapter one focuses on the universe’s creation, its history, and its destiny. Proponents of this theory teach that Genesis 1:1 to 2:4 is decorated with visionary and revelatory depictions by Moses, who is the premier prophet in the Old Testament Hebrew Scriptures. They believe that Moses is the direct author of this material. They find the six plus one pattern in one other place, in Exodus 24:16-18, where Moses ascends Mt. Sinai. On the first six days, the cloud covers the mountain. On the seventh day, Moses goes up into the cloud. Consequently, they argue that the days in Genesis chapter one are “seven days of divine revelation to Moses”. While there is currently insufficient evidence to confirm this theory, the Genesis Creation Revelation Theory appears to solve the conflict between science and religion. At first glance, this theory appears to be compatible with either a young or old Earth interpretation of the Genesis creation account.

Because the first humans were created on day six, then no human could have witnessed the creation events from days one to five. Many Christians, who seek to be faithful to what the Holy Scriptures say, will agree that Moses must have received an extraordinary revelation from God about how the Lord created the universe, planet Earth, and life. Many scholars believe that Moses was the original author of the Book of Genesis and he wrote and edited Genesis to Deuteronomy during his 40 years in the wilderness.

The first clue that Moses had a vision of the creation week is revealed in Exodus 24:15-18: “Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.  Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.  Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” In other words, while Moses was on Mount Sinai, he was shown a vision of the creation of the heavens and the Earth. To prove this, one has to go no further than the first chapter of Genesis. It described what happens during each of the six days and nights Moses was in the cloud.

The second clue that Moses saw the creation week in a panoramic vision  is the phrase repeated in Genesis chapter one: “And there was evening and there was morning, the first day… the second day… the third day… etc.” While the biblical day is from sunset to sunset to equal 24-hours, this fact also means that Moses’ vision began during the evening and concluded during the morning. In other words, Moses had six night visions about creation history. Throughout the Holy Scriptures, God usually show His prophets the past and future in visions and dreams.

The third clue that Moses saw the creation week history is the pictorial and conceptual nature of the creative acts described in  Genesis 1:1-31 and Genesis 2:1-25. Genesis chapter one is very descriptive and decorated with imagery because Moses was watching and hearing the events of creation. God is also mentioned in the third person (HE) rather than in the first person (I). Moses described the events of creation from the perspective of a geocentric orientation. In other words, the creation was revealed from the view of an Earth bound observer looking outward and upward from the horizontal surface of the Earth, according to Genesis 1:2. Moses employs the language of visual appearance and never the language of precise scientific description because science did not exist during his generation. Genesis 1:1-31 to 2:4 reveals Moses vision during the first six days and nights of his 40 days and nights atop Mt. Sinai.

After the first 40 days and nights on Mt Sinai, Moses went back up into the mount a second time and stayed another 40 days and nights. The creation was shown to him again, which he wrote in the second chapter of Genesis. He was also shown the remaining chapters of Genesis and the history of Israel down to his birth. Now this second chapter of Genesis consists of the following subjects: Adam was made of the dust of Earth and God breathed into him the breathed of life, according to Genesis. 2:7. The Garden of Eden contained both the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and there were laws concerning them, according to Genesis 2:8-17.  The division of the sexes began when Eve was taken out of Adam, according to Genesis 2:21-25. This history revealed that Adam and Eve were in perfect peace while they were in the garden. The second chapter of Genesis is simply a retelling of the first chapter with more significant details, which Moses did not include in the first chapter. The remaining chapters in Genesis dealt with the generations of Adam to Abraham, which Moses probably compiled and edited from ancient sources.

On the first day, Moses saw God create the universe: “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth” (Genesis 1:1 NIV). This single verse describes the actual transformation of invisible energy into all of the fundamental physical forms of matter (as summarized in Albert Einstein’s famous E=mc2 equation) that would be transformed into moons, planets, stars, galaxies, and everything else – including humankind.  The next verse describes the Earth following its creation and sometime after the creation of the universe: “Now the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters” (Genesis 1:2 NIV).

The universe as it exists was not produced by some cosmic accident. The conditions of creation were intricately planned and considered. A mindless uncontrolled “big bang” would result in destruction and chaos, not the life and order we now observe. On the other hand, a great initial expansion of physical matter that had just been transformed from pure energy, followed by orderly development (from natural laws put into force beforehand by the Creator: gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force) of stars, galaxies and everything else, is reasonable, rational, and logical. Therefore, what follows, in the “seven days,” is a description of the forming of substance already created in preparation for the creation of humankind.

Later, Moses saw and heard God say “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3 NIV). The sun was already shining brightly, but God made the Earth’s thick new atmosphere allow diffuse light to penetrate to the surface. And so it was that the light was made separate from darkness. The first day of Earth’s creation was literally the first “day” as someone on Earth’s surface would experience it – a period of opaque light, and a period of darkness (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV).

We learn that God’s creative power is manifested by simply speaking. His first creative word called forth light in the midst of darkness. In John 1:1-2 we learn that the “Word” (Yeshua) was in the beginning, and that the “Word” was with God and was God. John further tells us that “through him [the Word] all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:3 NIV). God did not just make a physical universe: “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” (Genesis 1:31 NIV). Whatever God makes is very good indeed, because the Word through which He created all things is the very essence of goodness, beauty, and light: “In him (Yeshua) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness” (John 1:4 NIV), now as it did at the very beginning of creation.

On the second day, Moses saw God separating the waters. There was no liquid water, no oceans. All of the water was in the form of a vapor, a worldwide super-fog, extending a number of kilometers up from the very hot bare-rock earth’s surface. God’s “hovering over the waters” in verse 2 describes His being above that gaseous-water atmosphere, not a liquid ocean. God then caused most of the water to condense onto the cooling earth which simultaneously formed a whole-planet ocean and cleared the sky (Genesis 1:6-8 NIV). The expanse, called “sky,” is the atmosphere, or layer of air between the water-covered Earth and the clouds above.

On the third day, Moses saw God forming a supercontinent and a super-ocean. The further cooling of the surface set in motion a process of natural contraction, uplifting and motion of the crust. The Earth changed from a smooth one-level molten “cue ball” to a planet with an irregular surface with ocean basins and landmass. With dry ground available, the first plants were made to grow in great abundance (Genesis 1:9-13). Earth’s original landmass existed as a single super-continent before it became divided into seven major continents – Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.

On the fourth day, Moses saw God allowing the sun, moon, and stars to appear. Before this day, the sun, moon, and stars were invisible. God transformed the upper atmosphere from a translucent sky into a transparent sky.    The sun, moon, and stars were to “serve as signs to mark the seasons, months, and days.” The sun measured the day (sunset to sunset), the moon measured the month (new moon to new moon), and the stars measured the seasons (Genesis 1:14-19 NIV). The appearance of the sun and the moon on the Fourth day was not a new creation. They had existed in beginning (Genesis 1:1 NIV). The words translated “made” in the 16th verse is not the same word as is translated “created” in verse one, and does not imply a “creative” act. What is meant here is that the clouds broke away and permitted the sun and moon to be seen, and from that time they were appointed to measure the days, and years, and seasons as we have them today.

On the fifth day, Moses saw God create flying creatures for the sky and marine animals for the ocean. This day’s work included the primeval fishes, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds. The fossil record show that these creatures were larger in size probably because they lived longer in an environment designed for maximum genetic expression. God created many other life forms during the Fifth Day, but only the fishes and birds are mentioned. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” (Genesis 1:20-23 NKJV). Here is the first time we come across the word “CREATE” since we read of the original creation of the earth in verse one.

On the sixth day, Moses saw God create land animals and humankind. This day’s work included the creation of reptiles, mammals, flightless birds, along with sauropod and theropod dinosaurs. God reveals that each living creature on the land is created “according to their kind.” This refutes the notion that all species of animals evolved from a single, common, primeval organism. It supports the scientific evidence that living creatures have adapted over time to their environment, while there is no convincing evidence that one species of animal has evolved into another. God created humankind in His own image. God saw everything that He had made, and it was “good” (1:4, 10, 12, 18, 21, 25, 31). It is interesting to note that God declared all that he had made on the sixth day “very good” perhaps to stress the relative significance of this day in comparison to the prior days.

On the Seventh Day, Moses saw God conclude His work on creation; and He RESTED, not because God was tired, but because the seventh day of the creation week was a type of the Sabbath. This appears clear from Exodus 20:11 because Moses wrote that “For in six days the Lord made heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH day; wherefore the Lord blessed the SABBATH day, and hallowed it.” According to the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint version of the bible, this passage says that God CEASE from working, which indicates that God was never tired, but that God only stopped working on the seventh day.

The Genesis creation revelation theory says that the seven days of creation comprise a biblical creation history, and each day represents a prophetic picture of the distant past, a factual but unclear flicker of divine truth wherein a “day” parallels an unknown time period. Just as prophetic depictions of the distant future horizon use figurative chronological markers, Genesis chapter one employs a “prophetic” summary of the primeval past. The revelation theory teaches that God’s purpose was to show Moses and most of humanity creation history in six days without revealing the encyclopedic details for the creation of the universe and formation of life upon the Earth. This theory says God passed before Moses’ eyes creation images, representing the most characteristic phases of the entire creation work during six days. Moses later preserved for future readers a memorial of these phases, but without having himself penetrated into their scientific meanings in detail, any more than the prophets were able to completely understand their prophetic visions. The revelation theory argues for six literal days that can be employed to defend either long or short creation days because each day represent an unknown time period, which is consistent with the eschatology found in other apocalyptic books.

When God revealed or depicted to Moses, in six night visions called days, His previous creative activity in history, these creative events do not represent strict chronological sequences because they are part chronological and part topical. This means that various stages or phases of creation are introduced in a logical order because they bear upon the human observer on the Earth’s surface (Genesis 1:2). It is more logical to describe the Earth’s surface following the original creation of the universe upon which the observer must stand before introducing the sun, moon, and stars which are to shine upon the Earth and regulate the seasons. In other words, Moses uses the language of visual appearance and not the language of precise scientific description. For example, Moses describes the appearance of the Earth’s landmass on day three and the appearance of the sun moon and stars on day four, although the Earth’s landmass and the star systems were all created in the beginning, according to Genesis 1:1.  Moses could not see the landmass during days one and two in his vision, but by day three, the landmass emerged from beneath the ocean. Likewise, the Earth’s upper atmosphere transformed from a translucent into a transparent atmosphere by day four.  This revelation appears to demystify the Genesis creation account.

While many people attempt to use the revelation theory to defend long creation days, biblical scholars argue that Exodus 20:10-11 and Exodus 31:17 says God created all things within six days. The works of Flavious Josephus, the writings of the early Church Fathers, the Book of Jasher, and the Book of Jubilees all say that God created the heavens and the Earth in six normal 24-hour days. Therefore, If Moses had panoramic visions and revelations of creation history, the time period for the Genesis creation history was short and was  only six normal 24-hour days.  The revelation theory appear to answer the question concerning how Moses acquired information about the subject of origins before human beings were created. This theory lays out an order of the creation history consistent with modern scientific interpretations.  However, this theory cannot be employed to blend Darwinian and evolutionary dogma into the Genesis creation account because the Holy Scriptures continually teach that God made all things in six normal days.

The revelation theory appears to harmonize with modern science and God’s Holy Scriptures. However,  some biblical scholars argue that there is nothing in the text of Genesis chapter one that would suggest that a mere vision is being described. If Genesis chapter one  was really only a vision (representing the actual events of primeval history), then almost any other apparently historical account in scripture could be interpreted as a vision, especially if it relates to transactions not naturally observable to a human investigator or historian. By cutting the Genesis creation account loose from reality, the revelation theory allows science to have a free rein and anything that science would propose could be put into or behind the creation account.

Leviticus chapter 23 gives eschatology students the Lord’s “Seven Great Divine Appointments”, which are incorrectly translated as feasts days. They were all prophecies foreshadowing future events and some have been fulfilled and other appointments are yet to be fulfilled. They are the shadow for things to come and apocalyptic events, where Messiah Yeshua is the “body” and substance, according to Col. 2:16, Col. 2:17. They were “Holy Convocations” for the people. The Lord instituted these Divine Appointments. The people had no say in the sacred matter. God promised that if the males went up at the “set time” to Jerusalem to keep these Divine Appointments, He would protect and care for their families.

The Lord’s “Divine Appointments” are seven in number. If we include the Sabbath there are eight. However, the Sabbath stands by itself. It was to be observed “weekly, “the other Divine Appointments “annually.” The Sabbath was to be observed in the “home, but the other Divine Appointments in “Jerusalem.” The “Seven Divine Appointments” may be divided into sections of four and three. The first section includes the “Passover Divine Appointment, the Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment, the First-Fruits Divine Appointment and the “Pentecost” Divine Appointment. Then there was an interval of four months, followed by the Trumpets Divine Appointment, the Atonement Day Divine Appointment, and the Tabernacles Divine Appointment. The “Three Great Festivals” were the Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. They extended from the first month’s 14th day to the seventh month’s 22nd day. The first four Divine Appointments foretell truths connected with this present gospel age and those who form the Lord’s “Heavenly” people the Church; while the last three Divine Appointments foreshadow the blessings in store for God’s “Earthly” people, the Jews.

The Passover Divine Appointment had its origination in Egypt. It became Israel’s memorial and redemption because it reminds them about their deliverance from Egyptian bondage. It was to them the beginning of a new era and their birthday as a Nation, according to Exodus 12:2. This period included the killing of a male lamb, without blemish, during the first year on the 14th day of the month in the evening, and sprinkling its blood, with hyssop, on the two side posts and the upper lintel of the door of their home.  When the Lord passed through Egypt that night and saw the blood on the doorposts, He would spare the first born sheltered within. The lamb’s flesh was roasted and eaten completely with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. The Israelis who ate of it were to do so with their loins girded and their shoes on their feet, and their staff in their hand, because they were ready to leave Egypt. The Passover Divine Appointment was a memorial and they were to keep it as a Divine Appointment throughout their generations and as an ordinance forever, according to Exodus 12:14.

The Passover Lamb was a type of Messiah Yeshua, the “God’s Lamb.” The shedding of His blood on Calvary, and our applying it to our hearts by faith, has the same effect as to our salvation, as the applying of the Passover Lamb’s blood to the doorposts of those Egyptian houses was necessary for those who were sheltered within. As that night was the beginning of new era to them, so the moment we accept Messiah Yeshua as our Lord and savior, during that moment we are born again, and we enter a new life because Messiah is our Passover who was sacrificed for us, according to 1-Corinthians 5:7.

The first time the Israelis observed the Passover Divine Appointment it was amid God’s terrifying judgments and plagues in Egypt, which represents the world. Thereafter its yearly observance was as a joyful Memorial of their deliverance from Egypt. While they still observe the Passover Divine Appointment no “lamb” is slain, and no “blood” used, but when they get back to their own land they will again keep the Passover. The Messiah’s Church does not observe the Passover, but they do observe as a Memorial the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper that Messiah instituted in its place.

The Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment began on the day after the Passover Divine Appointment, and continued for seven days, according Leviticus 23:6-8. The lamb was slain on the 14th day at sunset, which ended the day. The Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment began immediately after sunset, which was the beginning of the 15th day. Thus there was no interval between them. The Passover Divine Appointment is a type of Messiah’s death and the Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment is a representation of the believer’s “Walk” Messiah, and there should be no interval between the believer’s salvation and his or her entrance on a holy life and walk with Messiah. The “seven days” sketch the whole course of the Believer’s life after conversion.

Leaven in the Holy Scriptures is symbolic of evil; therefore, the Divine Appointment was to be kept with “unleavened” bread, according to Exodus 13:7. Paul speaks of “malice” and “wickedness” as leaven. “Purge out therefore the ‘old leaven’ that you may be a ‘new swelling, ‘ as you are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the Divine Appointment, not with ‘old leaven, ‘ neither with the ‘leaven of malice and wickedness,’ but with the ‘unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, according to 1-Coronithian 5:7 and 1-Coronithian 5:8. The Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment teaching means we are saved by Messiah’s shed blood the believer’s Passover; therefore, we are to “walk” in life’s newness and purge out the leaven of unrighteousness, and doing no “servile work,” or work that is done to earn salvation.

The Passover Divine Appointment happened on the 14th day of the month, the Unleavened Bread Divine Appointment on the next day, which was the Sabbath, and the following day, which was after the Sabbath when the First Fruits Divine Appointment was to be celebrated. This however could not be done until after the Israelis had entered Canaan, therefore the First Fruits Divine Appointment was not observed during the Wilderness Wanderings. The Offering was a bundle reaped from the waving fields of the ripened harvest, and carried to the priest to be shown before the Lord for acceptance, and was to be followed by a burnt, meat and drink offering, but no sin-offering. The burnt-offering was to be a male lamb without blemish of the first year. The First-Fruits Divine Appointment presage Messiah Yeshua’s supernatural resurrection from the dead. On the “morning after the Sabbath He arose and St. Paul spoke of His resurrection, as the “First-Fruits” of the resurrection of the dead. Like the wheat’s corn (John 12:24), He was buried in Joseph’s Tomb, and His resurrection was the “First-Fruits” of the Harvest of those who will be with Messiah during His coming, according to 1-Coronithians 15:23.

When the Priest on the day of Messiah’s resurrection show the First-Fruits’ bundle in the Temple, it was before a rent veil, and was but an empty form, for the substance had come and the shadow had passed away, and Joseph’s empty tomb proclaimed that the “Great First-Fruits’ Sheaf” had been reaped and waved in the Heavenly Temple. There will be a First Fruits Divine Appointment in the millennium age to remind future generations of Messiah’s fulfillment of this Divine Appointment.

Fifty days after the First-Fruits Divine Appointment, the Pentecost Divine Appointment was observed. The space between the two Divine Appointments, which included Seven Sabbaths, was called the Appointment of Weeks. It began with the offering of the First-Fruits of the Barley Harvest, and ended with the ingathering of the Wheat Harvest. The First Day was the First-Fruits Divine Appointment and the Last Day was the Pentecost Divine Appointment. Only the First and Last day were celebrated.

During the Pentecost Divine Appointment a new meat offering was to be offered before the Lord. It was called “new” because it must be of grain from the “new” harvest. During the First-Fruits Divine Appointment, stalks of grain were to be offered and waved, but at the Pentecost Divine Appointment the grain was to be ground and made into flour, from which two loaves were to be baked with leaven. The “two loaves” represent the two population groups that were to form the Church, the Jews and Gentiles, and because believers are not perfect, even though they are saved, that imperfection is represented by the leaven.

A burnt Offering of seven lambs without blemish of the first year, one young bullock, and two rams, was to be offered with the wave Loaves, as was also “meat” and “drink” offerings for a sweet savor unto the Lord. These were to be followed by a “sin offering” of a kid of the goats and two lambs of the first year for a “peace offering.” The “wave loaves” were to be waved before the Lord. Notice that it is now “loaves, and not loose stalks of grain. The “loaves” represent the Church’s homogeneity. The Pentecost Divine Appointment had its fulfillment on the day when the disciples of the Lord were baptized into one body by the Holy Spirit, according to Acts chapter two and 1-Cororinthians 12:13.

Between the Pentecost Divine Appointment and the Trumpets Divine Appointment there was a four month period when the harvest and vintage were gathered in. There was no convocation of the people during those busy months. This long “Interval” symbolizes the current present era where the Holy Spirit is gathering out the Church’s elect while Israel is scattered among the Nations. When this present age has run its course, and the “fullness of the gentiles” has been gathered in (Romans 11:25) along with the “remnant according to the election of grace” of Israel (Romans 11:5), then this “age of grace” will end while Israel’s elect is being gathered back from the Earth’s four corners (north, south, east and west) to keep the Trumpets Divine Appointment in Jerusalem, according to Matthew 24:31.

The Trumpets Divine Appointment, which was observed on the seventh month’s first day, ushered in the second series of the “set Divine Appointments.” Arriving on a Sabbath Day, during the new moon, and ushered in the Jewish New Year. It was followed by the Atonement Day, a on the month’s 10th day, and by the “Tabernacles Divine Appointment” which began on the month’s 15th day, a Sabbath day, and ended on the month’s 22nd day, which was also a Sabbath day. It was ushered in with the blowing of Trumpets. During the Wilderness Wandering two silver Trumpets, made of the atonement money of the people, were blown for the “calling of the Assembly, ” and for the “the camps’ journeys,” according to number 10:1-3.

The fact that the Trumpets Divine Appointment comes immediately at the close of the long “Interval” between the two series of “set Divine Appointments” is not without significance. As we have seen the “Interval” represents this “Grace Age” and we know that two things are to happen at the close of this age. First the Church is to be caught out, and secondly Israel is to be gathered back to the holy land. When the Church is caught out, the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trump of God” (1Thes. 4:16), and “We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trump; for the Trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed,” according to 1-Corinthians 15:51, 1Cor. 15:52.

This “last trump” is not the list of the “Seven Trumpets” that sound in the Book of Revelation, for it does not sound until the “Middle of the Week,” while the Church is caught out “before” the beginning of the “Week.” We probably are to understand by the “last trump” the last of the Two Trumpets used by Israel, the first, for the “calling of the Assembly, ” will call out the dead in Messiah from their graves, and the second or “last, ” for the “journeying of the camps, ” will be the signal for the upward journey of the risen and transformed saints to meet the Lord in the air.

Then we read in Matthew 24:31, that the Son of Man, when He comes in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory at His Revelation of Himself, will send His angels with a great sound of a Trumpet, and they will gather together His “elect” (not of the Church but of Israel) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” From this we see that the “Divine Appointment of Trumpets” has a typical relation to the “catching out” of the Church, and the re-gathering of Israel at the Second Coming of Messiah. This has led some to believe that as Yeshua was crucified at the time of the Passover, and the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost, that when He comes back the “Rapture” will take place at the Divine Appointment of Tabernacles, and the “Revelation” seven years later at the time of the same Divine Appointment. Time alone will reveal the correctness of this view.

The “Day of Atonement” was Israel’s annual cleansing from sin. For a full account of the day and its services read Leviticus 16:1-3. This typical meaning was fulfilled in Messiah. He is our Great High Priest, who instead of offering a “Sin-Offering” for Himself, offered Himself as a “Sin-Offering” for us, according to Hebrews 9:11-13. However, the fact that the “Day of Atonement” is placed between the “Divine Appointment of Trumpets, “which we have seen will have its typical fulfillment at the Second Coming of Messiah, and the “Divine Appointment of Tabernacles,” which is a type of Israel’s “Millennial Rest,” implies that it has some typical significance between those two events. It must therefore refer to the time when a “Fountain will be opened to the House of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness,” according to Zech. 13:1. This means there will be a National “Day of Atonement” for Israel after they have been gathered back to their own land unconverted, and will repent and turn to God, according to Zech. 12:9-11.

This was the last of the Seven Set Divine Appointments. It was a “Harvest Home” celebration to be observed at the end of the harvest, and was to continue seven days, according to Deut. 16:13. The people during the Divine Appointment were to dwell in booths (arbors) made of the branches of palm trees and willows from the brook, which would remind them of the palm trees of Elim, and the “Willows” of Babylon, according to Psalm 137:1-3. The Antitype of this Divine Appointment has not as yet appeared although Peter anticipated it, when on the Mt. of Transfiguration, he said “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you will, let us make here three Tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah,” according to Matthew 17:4. What Peter desired was the dwelling of Heavenly with Earthly people on the Earth and this was not possible then, but will come to pass in Millennial Days, when Heaven and Earth will be in closer union.

The Divine Appointment of Tabernacles points forward to Israel’s “Millennial Rest.” What the “Seventh Day, ” or Sabbath, is to the week, a day of rest; so the “Seventh Month” to the other six months of the “Seven Month Cycle, ” typifies a period of rest-the “Sabbath Rest” of the “Millennial Age, ” or 1000 years, in relation to the other 6,000 years of the world’s work day history. Like the Lord’s Supper is to us, a “Memorial” pointing back to the “Cross” and forward to the “Coming”; therefore, the “Divine Appointment of Tabernacles” will be a “Memorial” to Israel, pointing back to Egypt and forward to Millennial Rest. While the Divine Appointment of Tabernacles began on the Sabbath and continued seven days, it was to be followed by a Sabbath, according to Leviticus 23:39. This Sabbath on the “Eighth Day” points to the New Heaven and Earth that follow the Millennium, and to the “Eighth Age,” the Age of the “Fullness of Times.”

Eschatology is study of biblical prophecy, analysis of the last days, the examination of God’s final judgments, the exploration of heaven and hell, and the discussion of good versus evil. Eschatology investigates major topics revealed in biblical subjects.

The Holy Scriptures says all humans will die (Hebrews 9:27). The only exceptions will be people who are raptured to Heaven before reaching physical death such as Enoch described in  Genesis 5:21-23 and Hebrews 11:5-6; Elijah mentioned in 2 Kings 2:1-11; the Church Saints discussed in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58, and Revelation 4:1-4; Mid Tribulation Saints mentioned in  Revelation 7:9-17; and the 144,000 Jews discussed in Revelation 14:1-5. Most humans will experience physical death because sin exists in the planet Earth (Romans 5:12).

The “intermediate state” refers to the time between physical death and physical resurrection. Believers in Messiah exist wonderfully in the Messiah’s presence, while nonbelievers are distressed by their departure from the Lord. Both believers and nonbelievers wait for their physical restoration and adjudication at history’s end.

The Holy Scriptures reveal that Messiah Yeshua will return to Earth, in a physical body (Acts 1:11). No one knows exactly when this event will occur (Matthew 24:36), and it will catch many people by surprise-like “a thief in the night” (Luke 12:39-40). Although no one knows the exact day and hour, we can know from the Holy Scriptures the season His majestic return to Earth. Messiah Yeshua’s parables (particularly in Matthew 24-25) refer to the Second Coming and encourage believers to be alert, faithful, and intense in our activity for God.

By the end of human history, all who have died will come to life. Every human body from all of history will be resurrected. For believers, this resurrection will happen during Messiah Yeshua’s breathtaking  second coming, and their bodies will be transformed into new, perfected supernatural bodies (1 Corinthians 15:35-56). The Holy Scriptures says there will be a resurrection for nonbelievers, unto eternal death (John 5:28-29).

There will be a time when the Messiah judges humankind’s spiritual condition, based on their relationship to him. Believers and nonbelievers will be judged at different times. There will be a judgment for believers following the Rapture event to determine their rewards in Heaven. There will be a judgment for nonbelievers to determine their degree of punishment in Hell. There will be a judgment for fallen angels and demonic powers to determine their degree of punishment in Hell.

The Holy Scriptures reveal that Heaven is a place of everlasting joy, where believers in Messiah Yeshua will live in God’s presence. The Holy Scriptures reveal that Hell (particularly the lake of fire located in a supernatural dimension in the Earth’s center) is a place of anguished separation from God. Where a person goes, according to the traditional view, depends upon decisions made in this life.

However, A few believers argue that evil people will simply be destroyed, rather than be forced to suffer punishment throughout eternity. They argue that the Holy Scriptures are not completely clear in its presentation of Hell, and that many of the Scriptural passages discussing Hell take place during poetic and prophetic passages that need not always be interpreted literally. Such believers teach the gospel of annihilation.  While other believers, including the great writers and thinkers as C. S. Lewis and eschatology expert Rev Clarence Larkin, believe that some who never knew Messiah Yeshua by name during their lives will still, through the activity of the Holy Spirit, spend eternity with God in heaven. This view is based on the writings of St. Paul in Romans chapter 2. These theologians teach the inclusive gospel.  Whereas other Christians believe God will save all of humanity, though some humans will take longer than others. Eschatology experts describe this as the ecumenical gospel of universalism, which will be preached by the anti-Messiah and the false prophet when they enter the scene of human history.

Many believers say there will be time when Messiah will reign as king on Earth. This period is called the Millennium and is expected to happen before the final judgments. This belief is based on Revelation 20:4-7. Those who think that Messiah will return personally to begin this period are embrace the doctrine of pre-millennialism. Others, who teach that the kingdom will be established through the successful preaching of the gospel, believe in the doctrine of post-millennialism. Still others believers embrace the doctrine of a-millennialism because they do not believe that there will be any Earthly reign of Messiah at all; they interpret the thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20 as a poetic symbol.

The Holy Scriptures describe time of great anguish, or “tribulation,” which will come upon the Earth, a time worse than any in human history. Eschatology experts describe this period as the 70th week mentioned in Daniel 9:24-27, and they believe it will last seven years. Some believe the church will be on Earth to suffer through this time, and that the Messiah will not return until the end of the period. This is called post-tribulation rapture theory. Other prophecy scholars teach the pre-tribulation rapture theory, which says Messiah will first come to take his believers away before the great Tribulation and then Messiah will make an open display of his glory before the whole world at the Battle of Armageddon. Still others  teach the mid-tribulation rapture theory, which says the church will be present for the first half of the seven years but will be removed before the worst part of the Tribulation begins.

Commentary on Blood Moons in the 21st Century by Barry Setterfield.

Today many eschatology experts are discussing the blood moons of history and how they relate to biblical prophecy and the feast days describe in the Book of Leviticus. There will be several blood moons in the 21st century and all will occur on Jewish feast days. The first tetrad of blood moons will occur in 2014 and 2015. The second tetrad of blood moons will happen in 2032 and 2033. The third tetrad of blood moons will happen in 2043 and 2044. And the fourth tetrad of blood moons will occur in 2061 and 2062, according to astronomer and physicist Barry Setterfield.

The blood moons in the heavens signify several things. First, they mean wars will be coming to Israel to destroy it before the Jubilee of Jerusalem. Second, they mean the end of the times of the Gentiles and the age of Grace. Third, they signal the beginning of Jacob’s trouble and the seven years of Tribulation. And fourth, they signal that the Day of the LORD is beginning. There are four phases of the withdrawal of protection and grace from the Earth. These four phases coincide directly with the four appearances of the blood moons. There will be judgments during and after each one as they appear and then there will be a respite of grace and a harvest of souls after each one. Each of these four moons will bring worse judgments upon the earth. Israel and the nations will go into travail of the terrible darkness covering the Earth, according to eschatology expert, Dr. Maurice Sklar.

An eclipse is the passage of all or part of one celestial body into the shadow of another, which is the eclipsing body. A complete lunar eclipse can make the moon appear red, orange, or a blood red color.  When an eclipse causing the moon to appear red occurs during an Israeli feast day, this astronomical event is referred to as a “blood moon,” partly because of the blood sacrifices that these feasts often include.  The lunar and solar eclipses in history can be accurately predicted and charted in the past.  Analysis of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) eclipse website show a complete lunar and solar eclipse data for the past 5,000 years.

An episode that is now infrequent astronomically is for four complete lunar eclipses to happen in sequence. Frequently partial eclipses occur between complete lunar eclipses. Even more extraordinary is for such a tetrad of lunar eclipses to happen on Jewish feast days, therefore obtaining the term ‘blood moons.’ This lunar tetrad event on Jewish feast days will occur four times in 21st century beginning with the first in 2014 and 2015. The tetrad event occurred twice in the 20th century: in 1949 and 1950, then in 1967 and 1968. During these tetrad events, the four total lunar eclipses occurred in sequence on the Feasts of Passover and Tabernacles two years in a row. The dates were 13th April and 7th October, 1949 and 2nd April and 26th September 1950. The second tetrad occurred on 24th April and 18th October, 1967; then 13th April and 6th October, 1968. The first tetrad of lunar eclipses in the 20th century occurred after Israel became a nation on 14 May 1948, and the second tetrad surrounded the return of the Old City of Jerusalem to Jewish control on 7 June 1967.

Complete solar eclipses are not common. In 1967, there were two complete solar eclipses on 9th of May and 2nd of November. When solar events like this are interconnected with complete lunar eclipse tetrads, the probability of this occurring is highly unlikely. Messiah Yeshua is probably calling believers to pay attention to the significant events in His divine timetable related to the nation of Israel, which occurred that year. There is something similar for Israel’s formation in 1948. On 20 May 1947 there was a complete solar eclipse, with the next eclipse being annular. An annular eclipse is fundamentally the same as a complete solar eclipse except for a very small ring of light from the Sun around the Moon’s outside edges, which is hindering some of the sunlight. This annular eclipse occurred on 12 November 1947. Then in 1948 there was another annular eclipse on 9 May, just before Israel’s rebirth, with another complete solar eclipse on 1 November 1948.

The tetrad occurring in 21st century begins on Passover 15 April 2014, followed by Tabernacles on 8 October 2014; then Passover 4 April 2015 and finally on Tabernacles 28 September 2015. The first Solar eclipse occurs on 1 Nisan (20 March) 2015, and is complete. The second is on Rosh Hashana (14 September) 2015, and is partial. Therefore there are significant astronomical events in September 2015 with a incomplete solar eclipse for Rosh Hashana just a few days before the day of Atonement on 23 September, and followed a few days after by a complete lunar eclipse on the Feast Of Tabernacles.

When we travel backwards in time, we see no lunar eclipse tetrads in the 1800’s or the 1700’s or the 1600’s, though there were some related events in the 1500s. As we travel further back in time, the only complete lunar eclipses associated with Jewish feasts were 2 April 1493 (Passover), 25 September, 1493 (Tabernacles) followed by total lunar eclipses on 22nd March 1494 (Passover) and 15th September 1494 (Tabernacles). This tetrad may well be associated with the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492. On July 30th of that year, the community of many thousands of Jews was forcibly expelled, or forced to convert to Catholicism, or killed. Many thousands of Jewish refugees died in the process. The head of the Spanish Inquisition, Father Tomas de Torquemada, was the architect and engineer of this evil.

From 1491 to 1493, there were eight solar eclipses related to the Jewish expulsion from Spain. The sequence began with an annular eclipse on 8 May 1491, followed by a complete eclipse on 2nd of November that same year. These were just a few months prior to the Jewish expulsion order being made public. Then in 1492 the annular eclipse occurred on 26 April and 21st October. In 1493 a complete eclipse happened on 16 April and a partial eclipse on 10th of October. In 1494 a complete solar eclipse happened on 7th of March, with a partial eclipse on 30th of August. These solar eclipses in 1493 and 1494 were related to the tetrad of complete lunar eclipses that happened in those years.

These reasons reveal why many biblical eschatology experts are wondering if there will not also be some significant event or series of events primarily concerned with Israel, or perhaps the entire world, near the time of the coming tetrads in 2014 and 2015, 2032 and 2033, 2043 and 2044, and 2061 and 2062 .  A few biblical eschatology experts believe the Middle East wars described in Psalm 83, Obadiah 1:15-21, and Isaiah 17:1 will correspond with the blood moon tetrads in the year 2014 and 2015 or shortly after these tetrads. The tetrads in 2032 and 2033 are probably associated with the Rapture of Messiah’s Church (Thessalonians 14:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-55) and the Gog and Magog wars described in Ezekiel 38 and 39. The tetrads of 2043 and 2044 are probably related to the Anti-Messiah’s rise to power and his wicked rule over the Earth (Revelation 6 to 19 and Daniel 10, 11, and 12). And the year 2061 and 2062 will associated with the end of the seven year tribulation and Messiah Yeshua’s return to Earth.  Sir Isaac Newton believed that Messiah Yeshua will most likely return in the year 2060 or shortly before.

Messiah Yeshua said no man would know the day or the hour of His coming (Matthew 24:36). However, if we check the Old Testament Hebrew Scriptures, we will find passages describing blood moons and solar eclipses occurring just before the Day of the Lord. Some of the passages are found in  Joel 2:31, Revelation 6:12, and Acts 2:20. Analysis of the Hebrew Scriptures reveal that believers can know the approximate timeframe of when the major prophetic events will occur by studying the blood moons, solar eclipses, and the biblical feast days of the Holy Scriptures.

Today, many prophecy scholars, Bible code researchers, and modern day prophets believe that a Middle East war is imminent and this conflict will fulfill many biblical prophecies. These major prophetic events will probably begin this year in 2014 and continue until Messiah Yeshua returns to Earth (Revelation 19). The blood moons signify the coming of Messiah Yeshua and the end of the age of grace worldwide.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will attack Iran. The IDF attack on Iran’s nuclear power enrichment facilities will cause the whole world to become more anti-Semitic and despise Israel. Although the IDF will succeed in removing the nuclear threat almost completely, there will be war. Israel will be hurt, primarily from the Hezbollah and Hamas rocket attacks. This strike against Iran will provoke the neighboring Arab nations and they will attempt to retaliate, which will evolve into a limited nuclear war.  The nations in the world, especially the Western powers, will panic, because there will be a limited nuclear war and a dramatic increase in oil prices. This will trigger financial disasters in Europe, America, and many other nations. The dollar will significantly and dramatically lose its value. The Euro will suddenly just collapse. Then, the U.S. dollar will follow. A new global currency will immediately take their place called the Amero Dollar.

Vladimir Putin is preparing the way for another leader to rise in Russia. The new Russian leader will be the Gog and Magog describe in Ezekiel 38 and 39. But before this, Putin will try to take over other nations that once were part of the former Soviet Union satellite nations. He will be overthrown, deposed, and replaced by a ruthless, cunning, and disciplined Soviet style dictator. This Russian leader will try to take the Middle East by sudden and rapid conquest. Of course, according to Ezekiel 38-39, he, along with the nations with him, his “hordes”, will be defeated on the mountains of Israel when he attacks Israel from the north.

Sometime within the near future, the Rapture of Messiah Yeshua’s Church will happen suddenly. The “Rapture” is a Christian term used to describe the Christian ascension to heaven shortly before the time of Messiah Yeshua’s second coming to Earth. This supernatural event is describe in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-55, where those believers who are still alive at Messiah’s coming are described as being “caught up” together with their resurrected fellow Christians to meet him “in the air.” This rapture event is described again in 2 Corinthians 12:2-3 to denote Paul’s mysterious experience of being “caught up” into the third heaven, or paradise. Although there are differences of interpretation about the timing of the Rapture in relation to other end-time events, many Christian eschatology experts believe this event will happen before the seven year tribulation. They also believe this event can come at any moment now. This supernatural event is not chronological with the coming wars and other prophetic events, but a mystery hid in God. Messiah Yeshua can come now at any moment! We must make sure that we are right with God.

The whole world will collapse economically and a miraculous leader will arise out of the Middle East. He will be Satan incarnate, but people will blindly follow him, thinking he is actually the Messiah. The anti-Messiah is described in Revelation 13-20, Daniel 10-12, and other biblical passages.  He will immediately establish some order, particularly in Europe, but it will be so nefarious that many people all over the world will be in continual panic. They will just embrace anyone that seems to have some answers and especially the man of perdition, who is possessed by Satan himself and will be anointed with more charm and charisma than any other world leader in all of human history. No man or woman will be able to resist him, unless the Holy Spirit supernaturally opposes and stops his deception on a person.

God will release his end time Tribulation prophets, evangelists, and apostles, who will demonstrate the authority of God in the Earth. They will preach Yeshua’s Gospel, proclaim judgments and calamities, and these will immediately follow. Millions of souls will be saved, because of these men who proclaim the gospel in fire and glory. Miracles will follow them. Thousands will be raised from the dead, food and water and provision will occur wherever they are preaching. Healing miracles will be manifested that will arrest the entire world as they watch on the television and the internet the supernatural acts by these men. The fear of the LORD will be so great that they will call fire down even upon the White House and Congress. The Resolute Desk in the Oval Office hit and cleaved in two down the middle. The entire Government will fall on its’ face and cry out to God for mercy. God will answer and move in great revival, not just in America, but around the world.

Terrorism attacks of terrible destruction shall intensify worldwide after the first of the four Blood moons in the near future. Earthquakes and floods, fires, bombs, volcanic activity, will greatly increase, particularly in the Moslem nations and the ring of fire regions. This period will be really evil. We haven’t seen or even imagined the terrible calamities about to come. The protective covering of grace will be removed and the birth pangs will greatly increase over the globe within the coming months. With each of these heavenly signs, greater calamities will follow.

The first blood moon is coming during Passover on 15 April 2014. The second blood moon is on 8 October 2014. The third blood moon happens on 4 April 2015. And the fourth blood moon occurs on 28 September 2015.  Each of these four moons will bring worse judgments upon the earth. Israel and the nations will go into travail of the terrible darkness covering the Earth.

The Lord reveals several indicators of exactly where we are at in His timetable. On the statue of the Gentile nations recorded in Daniel chapter two. We are at the toes and most of the feet of clay are now in place. The mixture of clay and iron signify the erosion of authority and leadership. The statue starts with Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon, who was given more absolute authority of the Gentile empires than any one. All the empires since had less power and authority from then on. But, in the last almost 120 years, there has been a collapse in leadership in all the nations and now we are well into the feet of clay, which represents the very last of the rule of the Roman Empire…it will be revived into 10 “toes”, or regions during the last seven years, led by the Anti-Messiah. We are now at the very edge of those toes on God’s prophetic time clock.

After the Rapture of the Church, the Horsemen of Revelation chapter six will begin their terrifying ride worldwide and these four blood moons are a warning of their approach. We should pray that they don’t come exactly with each eclipse. However, they are directly related and are involved in their release upon Earth. The anti-messiah’s revelation brings false peace. The White Horse rider represents the anti-Messiah and at first he will not be recognized as evil by the world populations, according to Matthew 24:4-5 and Revelation 6:1-2. Only people filled with the Holy Spirit during the seven year tribulation (Revelation 6 to 19) will be capable of identifying the anti-Messiah. The world will adore the anti-Messiah, worship him fanatically because he will solve the global economic problems and he will “conquer” many with prosperity before he destroys the populations with violence, through flattery, diplomacy, and with a Mystery Babylonian religious system based on an ecumenical philosophy. He will deceive nearly all. This nefarious leader will emerge soon after the Rapture of Messiah’s Church. The anti-Messiah is the “Prince who is to come,” and who shall “confirm the Covenant” with the Jews for “one week,” according to Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 9:27.

When the Red Horse rider begins his ride peace will be removed worldwide and war will be unleashed globally. The symbolism is clear. The red color of the horse is a symbol of “blood,” and the sword of “war.” This time is clearly prophesied by Messiah, according to Matthew 24:6-7 and Revelation 6:3-4. The outcome of these wars will result in the worldwide 10 nation confederation, which Anti-Messiah shall become the head.

When the Black Horse rider begins his ride famine will be released upon the globe. Wars will be fought over food, water, and other resources. When all able-bodied men are drafted for war, the economy will collapse and fields will remain untitled and “famine” follows, just as Messiah Yeshua prophesied in Matthew 24:7 and Revelation 6:5-6. The olive and the grape do not need cultivation; therefore, their ruthless destruction is forbidden. All things will be regulated and buying and selling will be completely monitored when the 666 system is fully in place.

When the Pale Horse rider begins his ride Death will proliferate globally because of war, starvation, and demonic possession. Demons and evil spirits will be released worldwide and they will have the power to kill, steal, and destroy. By these means, one quarter of the Earth’s population will be destroyed according to Matthew 24:8 and Revelation 6:7-8. The Anti-Messiah cannot be revealed until the Bride of Messiah, the overcoming church, is raptured. However, many eschatology experts believe that he is alive now and ready to take his place in the right time.

There are evil angelic beings that are chained beneath the Earth. They are about to be released upon the Earth’s surface. These are not just demons, but once high ranking angels under Lucifer before Satan fell from heaven shortly after the creation week.  These fallen angels are mentioned in the Book of Enoch and they are the fathers of the Nephilim giants described in Genesis chapter six. They are horrible beyond human understanding. They will bring extreme disasters and gigantic misery upon those left behind on Earth.  They will bring torment, torture, and destruction upon billions. Hordes of demons will follow the command of these evil angels. In the past decade, there has been an exponential rise in the occult, false religions, satanic worship, and witchcraft. This is because “the great falling away” from God that has happened progressively during the past nearly 120 years. Satan is raging upon the Earth even with the Bride’s intercession and the prayers from the Church. He knows his time is short. When this final restraint is removed, literally, all hell will break loose upon the Earth for seven years.
