WHAT IS THE MEANING IN BIBLICAL NUMBERS?

Biblical numbers are made up of symbols that are arranged in a specific order. They are used to represent the amounts of items that can be determined through counting. Numerology is a method of expressing one’s thoughts or feelings through the use of numbers. In the same way that the Hebrews did not use the same alphabet as we do, they did not write numbers in the same way that we do. Nonetheless, it is relatively simple to convert their numbers into ours. They used numbers in an approximate or symbolic manner at times, which was a significant difference between them. It is appropriate, on the other hand, to think of numbers as reflecting the order that God incorporated into the world he created. Numbers, on the other hand, can assist us in deciphering the meaning, both literal and symbolic, that God has inspired within the Scriptures.

NUMBER ONE IS THE NUMBER OF UNITY

The number one represents unity and the Oneness of God. We read this in the Gospel of Mark 12:32, the Gospel of John 10:30, and in Ephesians 4:4-6, we find seven distinct “Unities,” all of which are one body and one spirit. There is only one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and only one God. When the number one is used in a sentence, it indicates completion: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one God,” according to Deuteronomy 6:4.

THE NUMBER TWO IS THE NUMBER OF UNION

The number two represents the Union of Marriage, and “they shall be one flesh,” according to Genesis 2:23-24. The Union of Christ and the Church, according to Ephesians 5:31-32. The Union of the “Two Natures” in Jesus, according to Luke 1:35. The number two represents the Union of death and life in the Atonement of Christ, as seen in the “Two Birds”, judging from Leviticus 14:4-6, and the “Two Goats,” judging from Leviticus 16:5-7. The Disciples were named in Pairs, according to Matthew 10:2-4, and they were sent out Two by Two, according to Mark 6:7. There were “Two Tables” of Testimony, and “Two Witnesses” were necessary to a fair trial, and “Two Witnesses” will testify during the Tribulation, according to Revelation 11:3. Two are better than one since they have a higher reward for their labor, because if one falls, the other will pick him up, according to Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.

NUMBER THREE IS THE NUMBER OF DIVINITY

Because it is cited so frequently in connection with holy things, the number three is referred to as the “Divine Number.” The number three speaks of the Trinity of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; as well as the Trinity of Man, consisting of body, soul, and spirit; of the Three Great Feasts, the Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles; of the Threefold Character of the Baptismal Formula (Matt. 28:19); of the Apostolic Benediction (2Cor. 13:14); of the Three Temptations of Christ, and His Three Prayers in Gethsemane. Moreover, the number three is related with the Re-establishment of Israel (Hosea 6:1, Hosea 6:2). The Resurrection of Jonah and the Resurrection of Christ are two examples of resurrection. Matt. 12:38-40. Throughout the Book of Revelation, the number three is often featured, particularly in the Threefold ascriptions. Jesus Christ is referred to as He who is, was, and will be; as the “Faithful Witness,” the “First Begotten From the Dead,” and the “Prince of the Kings of the Earth.” He is also referred to as the “Faithful Witness” and the “First Begotten From the Dead.” The four “Living Creatures” chant “Holy, Holy, Holy” to the Almighty and give Him “Glory,” “Honor,” and “Thanks,” as well as other expressions of gratitude. The book is broken into three sections, which are referred to as “three parts.” Each of the mouths of the Dragon, the mouth of the Beast, and the mouth of the False Prophet emit three “Woe Trumpets,” and three “Froglike Spirits” emerge from each of their respective mouths as well (Revelation 16:13, 14). Finally, mathematics’ simplest compound unit is the number three, which is represented by the numeral three. God exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is the numerical representation of the Godhead. The number three represents the tri-universe, which is matter, space, and time. The primary manifestations of matter are solids, liquids, and gases. Time is a trinity of the past, present, and future. Space is a trinity of height, length, and width. The Holy Scriptures reveal three ages of humanity, which is pre-flood, post-flood, and the Messianic Millennial Age.

NUMBER FOUR IS THE NUMBER OF THE UNIVERSE

The number four is the number of the universe, which is made up of four fundamental forces; gravity, electro-magnetism, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn are the four seasons of the year. Those are the four points of the compass: north, east, south, and west, respectively. Earth, air, fire, and water are the four elements of nature. The River that flowed out of the “Garden of Eden” was separated into four sections, which are as follows: Gen. 2:10-12. The Cherubim appeared to Ezekiel in a vision. Four in number, with each having four faces and four wings, they were a frightening sight. First, there was a face that looked like a man. In the second place, there is a Lion, in the third place there is an Ox, and in the fourth place there is an Eagle, all of which are “earthly” creatures. Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome were the four great “World Powers” revealed to the Prophet Daniel, and they were the most powerful civilizations on the planet at the time. War, famine, pestilence, and earthquakes are the four world judgments that will be visited upon the nations of the world. Matthew 24:6 and Matthew 24:7. Nations, Kindred, Peoples, and Tongues are the four divisions that exist within the human species. In the four Gospels, we find four different portrayals of Christ. The Sword Famine, Noisome Beast, and Pestilence are the four “sore judgments” that God has brought against Jerusalem. There were four sides to the Brazen Altar, as well as four horns, and the New Jerusalem is four square.

THE NUMBER FIVE IS THE NUMBER OF DIVISION

This is not a number that is frequently encountered. There were Five Wise Virgins and Five Foolish Virgins in the story. Five loaves and two fish were all that Jesus needed to feed the Multitude (five thousand men). A total of five smooth stones were taken from the brook by David. We have on each hand and foot has five digits, one on each side. The five books of Moses are numbered one through five. We have five senses to interpret reality.

THE NUMBER SIX IS THE NUMBER OF HUMANKIND

The sixth day was dedicated to the creation of man. Six days have been set aside for him to work. The Hebrew slave was to be held for a period of six years. The land was to be sown for six years and then laid fallow for the seventh year. The kingdoms of this world are expected to last for a total of six thousand years. It’s important to examine the “Image’s” overall size and dimensions. It measured sixty cubits in height and six cubits in width. According to Rev. 13:13-15, it was a prophecy of the “Image of The Beast” that will be commanded to be made by the False Prophet in the day of the Beast (Antichrist), and it is crucial because the “Number” on which the Beast will be numbered is 666. Goliath had 6 fingers and 6 toes. His spear weighed 600 shekels of iron. His h

eight is recorded as 6 cubits and a span. This is the day when men are seeking the “Deification of Man” and his powers, as well as the dethronement of the “Son of Man,” and they will achieve the fulfillment of their goal when they worship the Beast for Commercial Reasons (Revelation 13:15-17). This is “Man’s Day,” and the number six, which is one digit shy of seven, represents the day.

THE NUMBER SEVEN IS THE NUMBER OF COMPLETION

The sum of 3+4=7 makes up the number. That is a combination of the Divine and World numbers. It appears in the Bible more often than any other numeral. It refers to the Millennial Rest Day and is the seventh day of the “Creative Week.” The seventh day was the Sabbath. Enoch was Adam’s seventh son. Following Noah’s entry into the Ark, there were seven days of grace. Jacob was in Raehel’s service for seven years. In Egypt, there were seven years of affluence followed by seven years of famine. The significance of the number Seven is not revealed until we reach the Book of Revelation.
